Richard and Judy Collett, owners of Collett Racing, are well known for their ability to choose yearlings in all price brackets and are happy to put indepth work into choosing your horse at no fee in return for training it. Richard retains a share in all horses syndicated and believes in the horses he owns.

The Collett Racing Stables offers agistment, full training, horse selection and syndication. They charge fair training fees, no hidden costs and no public holiday surcharges. Richard keeps a maximum of 40 horses in his stables at any one time to enable him to focus on individual needs of each horse.
Richard has always focused on the best placement for his horses and is always keen to travel his horses for a targeted opportunity within New Zealand or to Australia.
The Collett’s are outstanding mentors to apprentice jockeys in New Zealand, including Lee Rutherford-Tiley, Tasha Collett, Jason Collett, Alysha Collett and the currently promising young apprentice Zinjete Moki. Many races have been won with their weight allowances.
