The Product

Traditional High Rise Jodhpurs
I make traditional high rise jodhpurs - high rise really suits all figure types, while the traditional style never goes out of fashion. We offer a wide range of colours, from the regular colours in stock all the time, to the variety of seasonal fun colours.
Most Popular
The traditional style has a fly and waist band and the easy fit is high rise style but pull on. These are my most popular style. The turn out jods are just beautiful and can be hand stitched for optimum WOW factor.
Sizes
Sizes start at Kid's Size 2 (so cute) through to the Women's 24.
We also offer a Men's range.

'Made To Measure' Service

The other service I offer is 'made to measure'. This is an important arm to our business, as no two bodies are the same. Once I have cut them out, they are sent off to our sewers for sewing. The pattern is then retained so we can use it again for future orders.
All sizes are made to a high rise cut, making them very complementary to a variety of body shapes.

Professional Sewers
We have our own sewers now, which is much better as they are all great sewers and professionals in their industry. This provides for a quick turn round from order to delivery.
My fabric is sourced here in NZ.

The Business

I bought Equejods 18 months ago. I had been looking for a business I could run from home as I live 50 kms from my nearest town, Feilding. The previous owner Jen had built up the business up over many years, so it was well established and she has been extremely helpful with the transition.

Why Equejods
I had actually owned and worn several pairs of Equejods jods over the years - and so had my kids. They were the most comfortable, best wash and wear jodhpurs we all ever owned. The easy fit colour jods actually became the kids favorite pants to wear around after school, on the farm, as they were just so easy to wear.

Looking Ahead
I have plans for a few new styles, but this year I am consolidating the current range and stock. Furthermore, I will be looking to get myself out to markets, horse shows etc.
The next item I want to add to the range are really nice women's polo shirts, with contrasting trim on jackets and collar.

The past 18 months have been quite a learning curve and a bit of a shock to be back working after being a stay at home mum, but I am on a roll and very excited about the future.
